Rocket City Bloggers is made up of a talented group of bloggers. We blog about fashion, food, politics, books, movies, kids…and more. Take a moment to get to know one of the members with this week’s RCB Spotlight.
The Blogger: c.a. Marks
c.a. Marks is the blogger behind Moxie Beautiful. She has been blogging before blogging was cool. Her first blog was started in the mid-1990s and she soon was off and running in the political blogging world. She switched to more lighthearted topics when she discovered the love for lifestyle blogging. c.a. has had several different blogs over the years before finally settling down with Moxie Beautiful.
The Blog: Moxie Beautiful
Moxie Beautiful is a blog dedicated to expressing the creativity of a charmingly bold GenX blogger. She blogs on her own personal journey of becoming a certain age, with a little style and fashion thrown in, and being a CrossFit enthusiast.
Other fun facts about c.a. – she quit smoking a year ago (cold turkey), is a closet fashionista, she can deadlift 235#, has the best shins in Huntsville and has an award to prove it. She served 5 years in the United States Navy, and you do not want to talk to her before she’s had her morning coffee. She loves all things Italia, feels most at home when she is on the road with her gypsy heart, and is most definitely a city girl.
c.a. is a founding member of the Rocket City Bloggers group. She is also an occasional contributor for Our Valley Events. Other publications and online magazines she has written for are Deep South Magazine, Southern Family, and Huntsville EVENTS magazine. You can also find her blog on BlogHer.
Follow c.a. on her social media channels below. She tries to treat each of her social media channels differently. So what you might find on her Twitter feed is not going to be what you find on her Facebook page.
Rocket City Bloggers is a group of local bloggers who share a love of blogging, social media, and everything that goes into being a webmaster.
RCB has monthly “Bloggles” (A gaggle of bloggers) where we meet at a local restaurant to swap ideas, enjoy bloggy fellowship, pick each other’s brains and enjoy a great meal at the same time. The bloggles tend to alternate between lunch and suppers to accommodate work schedules. We have a private Facebook group for members only, where we can also have conversations and make plans for things like future bloggles, large events (Connect!) and various workshops. Check out our Events page to see what we have scheduled.
